East Central 7-6 The Lady Warriors picked up· a "Piit against Jones County Junior College Tuesday. EC fcll8-7 in extra innings in Game 1 before. coming back to take a 6-2 win in the second \game. In the opener, Kadv Chan– dler was the losing -pitcher after coming on in relief of starter Kirnbo Seale. Son– dreia Hillia had a home run, a double and a single while Seale had two hits for the Lady Warriors. ECCC rebounded from its tough loss in the opener, as Chandler had a strong per– formance in the circle. Chan– dler went the distance, allowing only one earned run and striking out three batters. • Shenique Brass and Laura Smith each had three hils for the Lady Warriors while Can– dace Griffin had two hits for ECCC The Lady Warriors, now 2- 4, will host Gulf Coast Thursday. - j effEdwards
