Warriors grind out \ victory SCOOBA - Before fall practice started, East Central Community College head football coach Terry Underwood vowed that his Warrior team would hit the field this season with a new - and old - offensive philosophy. The result? So far, so good. In Scooba, the Warriors rolled up 409 total yanl ~ of offense, including 256 on the ground, to hold on for a 31-20 win over the Lions in the season opener for both teams. 'This is a big win because East Mississippi is a very good team,'' remarked Underwood. "Both teams played well and it was a hard-fought win for us."
