season, Underwood said his players have made it clear that the ultimate goal is to make the playoffs. "It's been a while (1999) since we advanced to the post-season and our guys have made it clear that we want to play for a championship. This is a good group, and we know that if we make it to the playoffs, we have a chance to possibly win a state title and play in a bowl game,"' Underwood said. "This team is very close and is getting closer, thanks to a good group of freshmen and the leadership shown by our sophomores. This bunch has come together well and I think some special things could hap– pen. I am excited about their attitude and their passion for this season. "Will is the best long snapper I have ever coached," Underwood stat– ed. "He can snap the ball very fast which is obviously very important in having an effective kicking and punt- ing game."
