ECCC sends several area football standouts to four-year colleges

back Darnell Lyt}(' of ( ollins, who's now attending Pikeville (Ken.) Collcl{c Hickmon (6-1, 206), a two– year starter, received ECCC's most valuable player award in 2006 and was chosen defensive team captain. Ht> was also selected an IVIACJC All-Star and was named second team All– State. Har rington (6-2. 205). also a two-year starter, Jed EC in tackles with 57 and had 18 assists. The former Kemper County standout also recovered a fumble. He was chosen an MACJC All-Star and was selected honorable mention All– State. Two-year starter Hudson (5- 11, 290) was named the War– riors' most valuable offensive lineman for 2006. He was also selected an t\.1ACJC All-Star and was named first team All-Stale. Hudson is a product of Philadel– phia High School. Underwood said he antici– pates several other Warriors players to sign in the spring.
