ECCC to conclude spring football Wednesday • Intra-squad

He said the squad took advantage of most of the 20 days allowed for spring drills, not only working on offense, defense and the kicking game, but also on placement of personnel. "We worked a lot on putting players in the right position, and I'm very pleased with the results. We were also able to pinpoint our strengths and weaknesses as we prepare for the fall sea– son," Underwood stated. Among the 45 players competing for spots on the team are 17 mid-year transfers. Coach Under– ~vood also signed qpprox– lmately 20 high school ~eniors who will report m August for fall prac– tice. East Central begins the 2007 season by traveling to East Mississippi Com– munity College in Scooba on Thursday, Aug. 30. Kickoff is set for 6:30p.m.
