Grimes, who also serves as Coordinator of Tech Prep Education. will drrect the fall dinner theater and spring semester musical. which are annual events on the Decatur campus. Prior to her employment at East Centrcll, Grimes served as English, chorus and drama instructor at West Lauderdale High School. She. also held teaching positions in Leland and Newton schools. During her tenure at Leland, she received Teacher of the Year honors on three occao;ions In addition. Grimes has received training in voice, dance, piano, clar– inet and speech and has performed various roles in Meridian Little Theater and Newton Theater Company productions. She is also a former member of the ECCC Collegians. EC Players, EC Concert Choir and Southern Exposure, a song and dance troupe at the University of Southern Mississippi.
