ECCC hosting 5K, 1-mile walk for homecoming A 5K run and one-mile walk officially begin home– coming activities scheduled Saturday, Oct. 13, at East Central Community College in Decatur. Registration gets under way at 7 a.m. at the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. and the mile walk begins at approximately 8:15 a.m. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner and winners in each age division. Cost is $ 12 per participant for those who sign up by Friday, Sept. 28. A $15 fee is applied for late registration.
