Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the first inning as Loren Kennedy beat out a bunt single, moved up on a single by Shenique Brass, and scored when Brass got caught in a rundown on a double steal. The Lady Warriors broke the game open with five runs in the third. Sondreia Hillie hit a two-out·single and Brass followed with a two-run homer to left field. After a walk to Whitnee White, Laura Smith, Candace Griffin, Tiffany Thomas and jessica Shannon delivered consccu tive singles with Griffin driving in one run and Shannon plating two.
