She has also held nursing positions at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, \.ewton Regional Hospital and Laurel Wood Center in Meridian. In all, she has 14 years experience in the nursing field. A graduate of Meridian High School, Cole attended Tougaloo College prior to earning an associate's degree in nurs– ing from Meridian Community College. ln addition to her formal training, Cole has completed training courses in the Management of Diabetic ~Patients, Cardiac Dysrhythmias, Management of Hypertensi"«e Patients, PerimenopausaJ and Menopausal Syndrome, and Pregnancy Ind uced Hypertension/HELLP syn– drome. She is married to the Rev. Jason Cole, pastor of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church in Newton. They have two children.
