ECCC Retirees Honored East Central Community College retirees Lmda Pierce (left) and Dr. Linda Lane \vere honored during the College's annual end-of-the-year luncheon held recently in Mabry :\1emoria:l Cafctena on the Decatur campus Pterce, who served as Chatrpcrson of the Division ofCommuntcations and English instructor, began her career at East Centml in I 994. She has completed 37 years in the field of education. including .,1ints at Decatur and Newton high schools. Dr. Lane, who completct.l40 years as a foreign language teacher, had been employed at hast Central since 1999. She also held teaching positions at the University ofMobile.
