ECCC names Cullen to Hall of Fame

Steve Cullen, of Carthage, has been named among six new members of the East Cen– t ral Community College Hall of Fame. Cullen was named a 2006- 07 inductee along with Colby Amis and Maggie McDill, both of Decatur; Loren Kennedy and Joshua Skinner, both of Union; and Victor Warnsley, of Morton. Cullen is a computer sci– ence major, who is a Dean's List Scholar and a member of Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. He served as president of t he EC Environmental Club, Ph i Theta Kappa and Mu Alpha Theta; a math student organization.' He was also a member of the Wo-He-Lo annual staff, the ECCC Players, the Baptist St udent Union, the Wesley Foundation and Alpha Alpha Epsilon, ''The Engineers." He received the Ann H. Burkes Phi Theta Kappa

CULLEN Scholarshtp, the Shelby L. Harris Memorial Scholarship, the EC Players Award and the EC Environmental Award. The Carthage High School graduate is the son of Allen and Monica Cullen, of Carthage.
