Slgrest Memorial Scholarship Established DECATUR-Family members of Elva Smith Sigrest of Harperville have established a scholarship in her memory at East Central Community College in Decatur. Initiated by her daughters - Ann . Sigrest Williams of Columbia and Betty Sigrest Bustin of Forest - the scholar– ship honors the 1932 ECJC grad– uate and Neshoba County native who was a resident of Harperville for more than 69 years and a longtime active member of Harperville United Methodist Church. Applicants must be a graduate of Scott Central or Forest high schools; have sophomore status at ECCC; have at least a 3.0 grade point average; and be a . full-time student at the College. The award will be initiated for the 2007 fall semester and will be presented in subsequent fall I terms as funding is available. j For information call toll free, 1-877-462-8222, ext. 375.
