lCCC SCHOLARSHIP

EAST CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE Receives Ric;hard Harris Scholarship: Sophomore Micah Lanier (left) of Little Rock, a graduate of Newton County High School, is the recipient of the Richard Harris Scholar– ship at East Central Community College in Decatur. The scholarship was established in 2003 by Dr. Harold Aycock (left) in honor of his high school basketball coach, Richard Harris (right), who taught and coached in Newton County for over 40 years. The award was presented during the Col– lege's annual Bell South Scholarship Appreciation Lun– cheon held Thursday, May 26, 1n Mabry Memorial Cafeteria.
