ECCC restructures orientation East Central Community College will once again offer five orientation sessions this summer for students planning to attend faJI classes. The only addi– tional step will be to attend an Orientation meeting the first week of school or they may complete uie Orientation process on our website as soon as they complete registration." Students who have not sent a copy of their ACT scores to East Central will be placed in Developmental Math and English

Killens also reminds students that in order to receive MTAG (Mississippi Tuition Assistance Grant) they must have taken the National ACT. To complete registration, students need ro have the following informa– tion on file in the Office of Admissions, Records and Research: ( 1) a completed application for admis ion: (2) an ACT score (aca– demic/technical students only; does not apply to vocational students); (3) official high school transcript; and (4) college transcript if a transfer student. The only fee associated with ori– entation is a $5 charge to purchase parking decals. A tag number is required to purchase the decal. Killens added, "We will continue to serve the noon meal in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria and invite all stu– dents and parent!> to join us for lunch.'' Honors orientation will be held on Friday, June 3, for students who have a 21 or above ACT score, those selected STAR students, valedictori– ans and salmatorians and members of the Beta Club or other honor soci– eties. Additional orientation sessions are scheduled Saturday, June 18; Thursday, July 7; Wednesday. July 20; and Friday, August 12.
