ECCC women won the MACJC Central Division and placed third in the MACJC/Region 23 Tour– nament hosted by ECCC on the Decatur campus. Chaney, a shortstop/ catcher, led the Lady Warriors with a .494 batting average. She had three triples, four dou– bles and 12 RBis. She also scored 28 runs. She received second team All-American hon– ors in 2004 after leading the 2004 Lady Diamond Warriors to the Central Division runner-up title and a berth in the region/state tournament See CHANEY, Page 28
