L ocAL& PREP ECCC sweeps Lady Eagles By Marty Stamper I staff writer Thursday, March 31, 2005 11·35 PM CST DECATUR - Anchored by two solid pitching performances by Marley Smith, the East Central Community College Lady Warriors took over sole possession of first place in the MACJC Central Division softball standings with a 3-2, 5-2 sweep of Meridian Community College on Thursday. The first game went eight innings. ECCC improved to 15-3 overall and 4- 0 in the division. MCC dropped to 5-16 and 2-2.
