ECCC Commencement Held

DECATUR-More than 500 students received di– plomas Friday, May 14, 2004, when East Central CommunityCollege held its 75th commencement exercises in Brackeen– Wood Physical Education Building on the Decatur campus. Included in the total are those who com– pleted degree require– ments following the 2003 summer and fall terms, according to Dr. Lavinia Sparkman, Vice President for Instruction.Those par– ticipating in the program included Kimyatta Viver– ette of Lake, who gave the invocat ion; Amy WamerofLouisville, who

presented the keynote address and Cyrus Doe ofLiberia, West Africa, whogave the benediction. In addition, the East Cen– tral Community College show choir, Ac'cents, presented Rodgers and Hammerstein's "You'll Never Walk Alone" for the musical selectio -~-­ ECCC President Dr. PI
