ECCC's Chaney commits to Southern Miss

East ~e~tral Community College soph– omore .Knst.m Chaney has committed to the ~nrvers1ty of Southern Mississippi as a mu1t1-sport athlete. Ch~ney, who started as point guard on ECCC s Aeg1on 23 championship basket– ball team a year ago, plans to play basket– ball w1th the Lady Eagles next year. bas– ketball and softball the following year and softball the year after that. • Chaney IS a shortstop on ECCC's fast– pitch team. She also played catcher In h1gh school at Newton County.
