Plans set for Warrior Golf Classic Scholarships for area students will again be !be top prize when the Third Annual East Central Community Col– lege Warrior Golf Classic is held this sununer at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club on the Pearl River Resort near Pb.iladelphia. Entry fee for the four-person scramble is $125 per player, which includes the green fee. a cart, T-shirt, box lunch and the opportunity to win various door and on-course prizes. Prizes will also be awarded to the top three finishers in each flight, and an overall corporate winner will be rec– ognized.

Sponsored by the College's Alum– ni Association. this year's event is scheduled for Thursday, June 24 on the Oaks Course. with a shotgun start set for 9 a.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Association president TamCooper of Brandon said she anticipates anoth– er successful tournament, as indicated by !be early response from alumni and friends of the college for the fund-rais– ing project. "We already have 11 teams enterecl eight Gold Corporate Spon– sors. one Silver Corporate Sponsor~ and two Hole Sponsors as of mid– March. We are looking for !be tourna– ment to be fi lled within the next few weeks," Cooper said.

Corporate sponsorships are also available on various levels. Gold sponsorships are $650 and includes a hole sponsorship and fees for one four-person team. A Silver Sponsor– ship is $400, which includes a hole sponsorship and fees for two players. Also available are hole sponsorship11 for $200 and t-shirt sponsorship~ which can be purchased for $100. The ECCC Alumni Association is also selling chances for a new go! r cart. Tickets may be purchased from a county representative or by contacting the ECCC Alumni Office. The golf cart will be presented at the awards
