The first Warriors coach four games Terry Underwood are with Northwest, ltawamba, Southwest, and Pearl River with only the South· west contest being in Decatur. "We're optimistic about our football team," ECCC seventh– year head coach Terry Under– wood said. "We feel like we've got a chance to have a good and ver y competitive team, but what makes it even tougher is the schedule we play. "We'll put our schedule up with anybody in the state of Mississippi. We don't make our schedule, it just rotates and thi is the first year of a two-year deal. "We open up at No. 2 North– west and we play all the nation– ally-ranked teams in the state ... Pearl River, Hinds, and 1 ones. And we play Itawamba, who may be as good as anybody in the Nor th Division. ''Then you've got your rival game with East Mississippi which is traditionally a good game.
