Association in Mississippi. ln 1978, Wood served with Sue Ross as the first coaches of a Missis– sippi Junior College All-Star women's basketball team. The 1978-79 season concluded with Wood being chosen Mississippi Association of Coaches "Coach of the Year:· She was also selected to the Top 20 National Junior College "Coaches of the Year." Wood was again chosen coach of the women's All-Star team in 198-l and was a member of the Region ::!3 Women's Basketball Committee dur– mg 1985.
