CCC hires women's basketball assistant Ten All-Stars, which became the first team from the Big Ten Conference to go unde– feated on a European tour. Sp 1ul ~1e Record coaching accomplishments include numerous players being recognized with vari– ous conference honors.

Zareth Gray has been named assistant women's basketball coach at East Cen– tral Community College in Decatur, announced Lady Warrior head coach Brad Hodge.

Gray was also a standout at Fairfield (Calif.) High School, where she helped lead FRS to a Monticello Empire League Champi– onship and a Sac-Joaquin Sectional Championship. She is recognized as the school's all-time leader in total points scored, three– pointers and rebounds. . She received a bachelor's degree in merchandising management at Michigan State University and has completed 30 hours toward a master's degree in athletic administration from Ball StateUniversity. I

She is also a former bas– ketball standout on the pro· fessional, college and high school levels. Professionally, Gray played in the Women's First Division of the German Pro– fessional Basketball League as a member of the DJK Wuerzburg X-Rays. In her onlY season on the team. she finished Lth in rebounding in the lea.,uue. She was a four-year letter· -~ .,.,:1~r at Michigan State Universit}: and was instru· mental in l~ding the Lady Spartans to the second round of the of the 1996 l\CA.A tournament during her senior season. She was selected "Most Improved Player'· during her junior year and was also named to the All-Tournament Team in the Felpausch Tournament, hosted by MSU.
