ECCC announces alumni baseball game on Sept. 13

Former East Central Community College baseball players are invited to return to campus for a day of fun and friendly competition when the college holds its 2003 Baseball Alumni Day on Saturday, Sept. 13. ECCC head coach Jake Yarborough is encouraging former players to join him tor the special event. "We hope. that all former. EC players, ~oaches, man– agers and trainers can be with us for this occasion. It will be a great opportunity to visit with old friends, recall pleasant memories and suit up on Chris Gay IV Memorial Field/Jamie Clark Memorial Stadium for a few innings of baseball with for-

mer teammates. Wives, chil– dren and parents are also invited to attend," said Yarborough, a member of the 1991 and 1992 Diamond Warrior squads. A Home Run Derby at 10 a.m. begins the day's activi– ties. The alumni game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m., and will be followed by a complimentary luncheon.
