ECCC Diamond Warriors Honored East Central Community College baseball standouts Jake Nester, left, of Lake and Drew Kenna of Forest rec~ived post-season honors following their 2003 campaign. Nester was selected All-Region 23 and All-State, and Kenna was named to the All– State squad. ·ester, a sophomore second baseman who also served as a t~arn co– captain, posted a .397 batting average with 52 hits, which included three home runs and 12 doubles. He also collected 38 RBis. Kenna, a freshman outfielder, bat– ted .392 \\rith 31 hits, which i ncluded one home run and five doubles. He had 16 RBis.
