Phi Theta Kappa Presents Check East Central Community College's Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of the two-year college, presented a donation of $252.75 to American Cancer Society representative Cassandra Gibbs (center), who also serves as a registered nurse at Newton Regional Hospital. Funds were raised during the honor society's "March for Breast Cancer" walk held on the Decatur campus. Making the presentation were (from left} April McAdory of Philadelphia, president of Theta Xi Chapter, Lance Hall of Forest, vice president for service, Gibbs, and Theta Xi sponsors Christy Ferguson and Brent Gregory.
