ECCC To Present Spring Band Concert March 24
The Central Community CoJiege Band Department will present its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Monday, March 24, in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus. Performing groups include the concert band and the per– cussion ensemble, under the direction of assistant band director Jared Brownlee, and the jazz band, led by director of bands Thomas W. Carson. According · to Brownlee, the concert band will perfonn clas- East
sics such as "Bugler 's Holiday" and compositions of renowned band composer Robert W. Smith. Carson said the jazz band would pull some "new tricks" out of their hats. And Brownlee's only comment about the percussion ensemble was ''you' ll have to see it to believe it." The public is invited to attend and there is no charge for admission.
