Postseason honors presented to ECCC foOtball players

Numerous members of the East Central Community College football team received honors following the 2003 campaign, head football coach Terry Under– wood announced. At the top of the Hst are offensive guard Rudy Su'c, a product of Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla., and linebacker Sed Eichelberger of Noxapater who were selected first-team All-State. Cornerback Leron Yar– brough and offensive tackle Davis Carter, both of Louisville, were chosen sec– ond-team All-State. A host of1>layers received honorable m'ention All-State, including defensive tackle Corey Hayes, Forest; offen– sive guard Dennis Harris and linebacker Marcus Cleveland, both of Morton; cornerback Tommy Searight, d ' Iberville; tight end Cameron Tawater, Philadel-

phia; wide receiver Chris Smith, Ridgeland; fullback Clinton Thomas, Ripley; free safety Nick Frazier, center Rhyne Thompson, corner– back Derrell Ashford and defensive end Mantrell Ashford, ,,IJ of Louisville; offensive guard Cavoris Grant, Columbus; fullback Germame Smith, Newton County; tailback Kenshay Hunter, Philadelphia; strong safety Tony Edison, Collins; offensive tackle Chris Allen, Tuscaloosa (Ala.) County; linebacker Kelvin Horne, Northeast Lauderdale; offen– sive guard Michael Wright and wide receiver Bobby Lindsey, both of "'lewton; defensive lineman Willie Johnson, Oconee County HS, Athens, Ga.
