To be constdered for this honor, recipients ··must demonstrate exemplary char– acter, superior scholarship, worthy lcader::.hip and contribute to the bet– terment of East Central Community College:· according to Dr. Phil A. Sutphin. College president. ductions. She was selected Outstanding Humanities Student for 2000-2001 and was first place winner in the 2001 poetry festival sponsored by the Mississippi Poetry Society. A Dean's List Scholar, she was selected to Who's Who Among Students in American Community/Junior Colleges.
