C wins 3 on div. schedule After reehng off consecutive victorie~ over South Division opponents Pearl River, :\1eridian and Copiah-Lincoln, East Central's soccer team has one more hurdle to clear to make its first trip to state play– offs: division leader Gulf Coast. The Warriors, 9-6-2 overall and 5-3-1 in division play under fourth-year head coach Kenneth Thompson, were to battle the top-ranked Bulldogs (10-2-2 and 8-1) at 3 p.m. Tuesday at home. Results from that game were not available at press time. East Central cruised past Copiah-Lincoln 6-2 Thursday in Wesson and claimed a 2-1 victory over perennial power MCC Wednesday (Oct. 23) in Decatur.
