Dayna Morgan of Philadelphia, president of the ECCC Alumni Association, is anticipating a lot of support for the first-time event. "The Alumni Association wanted to help raise funds for scholarships, and we thought that a golf tournament would be an ideal way to do that. There are many ecce alumni who play g()U and we are counting on great participation, especially since the tournament is being held on one of the best courses in the country. The tournament is also a great way for ECCC alumni to get together and

renew friendships," Morgan said. Among the first sponsors to sign up include Killens' Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac, fnc., in Newton; Vowell's Market Place in Louisville; La-Z-Boy South in Newton: Newton County Bank; and Valley Innovative Services, Inc.
