Pearl lliver will host the Holme::.-ltawamba winner in the other semifinal. ECCC, which finished 3-6, led Southw~t 13-0 barely 10 minutes into the contest bur never scored agatn. Titus Ryan scored on a 35-yard run with 11:53 showing in the opening period with Jacob Swayze kicktng the extra point. With 4:50 remaining in the first quarter, Jarvis Lymon scored from eight yards out on a fake field goal to cap a six-play, 45-yard drive. Swayze s PAT was partially blocked. Southwest, 3-6, got to within 13-7 with 7:38 to go in the second quarter on a 73-yard pass from Brandon Wagner to Sane Reddix. Tim Wright kicked the extra point. The Bears took the lead for good with 3:49 to go before halftime when Wagner connected with Reggie Lindsey on a 29-yard pass. Wright's kick sent Southwest into halftime with a 14-13 edge. SouthWest got a 28-yard fumble return for a touch– down by Troy Brumfield with 7:05 left in the third quarter to go up 20-13. Wright's PAT was no good. ECCC had one serious threat in the fourth quarter, advancing to the Southwest 16 before losing the ball on an bad option pitch. ECCC finished 3-3 in the South Division, while South– west wound up 1-5 in the league. Ramon Williams had 112 yards on 21 carries for the Warriors.
