David Burt of Newton was recently selected a 'member of the East Cen tral Commu– nity College Warrior Corps, a select gnntp of stu– dents who assist in recruit– ing and serve as hosts for various campus events and activities. Academic coun– selor Michael Alexander serves as advisor. Burt is a g raduate of Newton County Academy where he was valedictorian, a STAR stu– dent, president of the honor society and vice president of FBLA. At East Central, the freshman business ad– ministration major is a member of the Baptist Stu– dent Union and the Warrior golf team. Burt is the son of Bryan and Mary Burt of Newton.
