David Burt of Newton was recently selected a 'member of the East Cen tral Commu– nity College Warrior Corps, a select gnntp of stu– dents who assist in recruit– ing and serve as hosts for various campus events and activities. Academic coun– selor Michael Alexander serves as advisor. Burt is a g raduate of Newton County Academy where he was valedictorian, a STAR stu– dent, president of the honor society and vice president of FBLA. At East Central, the freshman business ad– ministration major is a member of the Baptist Stu– dent Union and the Warrior golf team. Burt is the son of Bryan and Mary Burt of Newton.

Nathan Stamper of Deca– tur was recently selected a member of the East Central Community College War– rior Corps, a select group of students who assist in re– cruiting and serve as hosts for various campus events and activities.
