ECCC Collegians named for 2000-2001 Mann (trumpet) of

Members of the Collegians, the vocal-instrumental pop group at East Central Community College in Decatur, have been chosen for the 2000- 2001 College year, announced Thomas W.Carson, director. Seleci;ions were made follow– ing recent auditions. during which 52 full-time students competed for 20 openings, Carson said. Vocalists are Josh Burton and Josh Sanders, both of Newton County; Megan Tramill of Newton; Claire Edgar of Union; Amber Gainer of Louisvill~; and Teresa Ogletree of Birmingham, Ala. The rhythm section includes Brittany Bane (guitar) and Kirk Misso (bass guitar), both of Neshoba Central; Lucas Majure (drums) of Newton County; Frazier Wash (key– boards) of Forest; and Carson. Members of the winds sec– tion are Dustin Burton (trum– pet) of Newton County, Adam

Philadelphia, Mitzi Rogers (saxophone) of Forest and Joshua Black (trombone) of Neshoba Central. Technicians are Ben Boyette and Andy Murphy. both of Southeast Lauderdale; Josh Tillman of Forest; Josh Young of Leake Academy; Robert Hodgins of Neshoba Central; and Ryan Woodard of Louisville The Collegians performed in Ne"- York City this past sum– mer and will be featured per– formers at Disney World in May, 2001.
