Carson names EC Collegians Members of the Collegians, the vocal-instrumental pop group at East Central Community College in Decatur, have been chosen for the 2000-2001 College year, announced lhomas W. Carson, director. Selections were made follow– ing recent auditions, during which 52 full-time students com– peted for 20 openings, Carson said. Vocalists are Josh Burton and Josh Sanders, both of Newton County; Megan framiU of Newton; Claire Edgar of Union; Amber Gainer of Louisville; and Teresa Ogletree of Birmingham, Ala. The rhythm section includes Brittany Bane (guitar) and .Kirk Misso (bass guitar), both of Neshoba Central; Lucas Majure (drums) of Newton County; Frazier Wash (keyboards} of Forest; and Carc:;on. Members of the winds section are Dustin Burto~ (trumpet) of Newton County, Adam Mann (trumpet) of Philadelphia, Mitzi Rogers (saxophone} of Forest and Joshua Black (trombone) of Neshoba Central.
