Hatch inks with EC to·continue b'ball

Tuesday, Carthage Hi gh School's Clint Hatch signed with East Central Community College's Jay Bowen with the intent of continuing his bas– ketball career. Hatch , who averaged 16 points and seven rebounds his senior ·season, is the son of Ricky and Linda Ha tch of Carthage. East Centrai men's coach Jay Bowen said, "We're very excited about getting Clint in our program." Hatch was a 6' 5" post play– er for Carthage, but would likely occupy a forward spot for Bowen. "Clint's a very good per~on who I think's best basketball is in front of him," Bowen added.
