EC represented in MACJC AD-Star games Team rosters have been announced for the 23rd annu– al MiSSISStppt Association of Community and Junior Col– leges All-Star Basketball Games, which are scheduled Thursday April 6. This year's event will be held at the Choctaw Central High School in Philadelphia. Tip-off for the women's game is set for 6 p.m. with men's action to follow at 8 p.m. Admission is $4. )ones; C.]. McBride, Gulf Coast; Kendell Noel and dal– tron Wilson, both of hinds; and Zebton Wells, southwest. Robert Mcinnis and Sam Jones of Jones County Junior College will serve as coaches.
South women All-stars are Frankie Harden and Menittia, both of Hinds; Feliaia Hayes, Gulf Coast; Dian– dra Hosey, Cara Lewis and Erika Slayton, all of Jones;Victoria Mason, Chastidy Sandier and Ann Web– ster, all of Copiah-Lincoln; Tonya Moncrief, East Central; LaKita Robertson, Pearl River; and Misty Stevens, South– west. Coaches are Sandra Sumrall and Natasha Satcher of Jones. Pnior to the All-Star matchups, a free coaches clinic will be held at the Silver Star Resort and casino. Sharon Fanning, head women's basketball coach at Mississippi State University, will speak at the 3 p.m. session. Fea– tured speaker at the 4 p.m. session will br Tevester Anderson, who leads the men's basketball program at Murray State University. A golf outing is also scheduled earlier in the day at the dancing Rabbit course. For the thtred straight year, the All-Star games are being sponsored by the Mississippi Band of Chocta Indi– ans, Silver Star Resort and casino and east Central Com– munity College in Decatur.
