ALL STATE, ALL STAR WARRIOR -Various post season honors were presented to these members of the East Central Community College football team following the 2000 cam– paign. Named to the first team, All-State squad are (seated from left) quarterback 1itchell McKinnon, Palatka, Florida; offensive lineman Randy Brunson, Sebastopol; and defensive lineman Quentin Bowens, Brooks High School, Killen Alabama. Selected second team, All state are, standing from left- defensive back D'Angelo Lewis, Douglas Byrd High School, Fayetteville, North Carolina; running back Terrance Wansley, Newton County High School; and linebacker LaKenrick Houston, Louisville. Not pictured is wide receiver Dontay Spillman of Valley High School in Louisville, Kentucky, who was also named sec– ond team All-State. The above standouts along with offei\Sive lineman Randy Brown of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, represented the college in the MAQC All-Star game on De– cember 2nd at Booneville. The Warriors finished the season with a 6-4 overall record and were 3-3 in South Division competition.
