In addition to academics, Hutchison was a letterman in track and football. A President's Scholar at MSU where he received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering, he is married to the former Myrtle Ruth Fikes and they live in Lit– tleton, Colorado and are the parents of two daughters.

A graduate of Louisiana College in 1960 where he helped lead to best season in school history, Rhea coached in Alexandria, La., Moss Point and Greenwood. Rhea began an involve– ment in auto sales and now owns an auction business in Madison where he and his wife, Sammie reside.

Thrash has served. as prin– cipal of Newton County Elementary School in Deca– tur since 1991. She previ– ously served as principal of Boler Elementary School, Decatur. Having served as classroom teacher and ad– ministrative. In addthon to her duties as an educator, she is involved with various civic and relig– ious organizations. She is a 34 year member of the Deca– tur Women's Progressive Club and is current president. A member of Decatur United Methodist Church, former Gtrl Scouts leader and direc– tor for Decatur Public Li– brary, she was Outstanding Young Woman in 1968, 69 and 1970, Outstanding Educator in 1974 and member of Per– formance Based School As– sessment Task Force for 1983- 84. She is a graduate of Union
