Friday night's blackout isn't the first time the Tornadoes have entered the dark side. Remember 1997's football game at Ackerman when a county wide black– out postponed the kickoff by over an hour? And how about the 1994 game with Union at Harpole Stadium that was delayed when the lights wouldn't come on? Then there was the 1993 game with Neshoba Central when the lights went out just before the opening kick– off at Harpole Stadium. And for us old-timers out there, the 1972 game at Union had just reached halftime when a sudden th understorm knocked out electricity.
