East Central names its first-ever soccer coach Kenneth Thompson of Decatur has been selected as t he new East Central Community College soccer coach, announced Dr. Eddie M. Smith, ECCC president. Thompson, who will al s o teach developmental mathmat– ics in his new position , currently serves as varsity and junior var– sity soccer coach at Newton • County High in Decatur, where · his duties also include serving · as math instructor and junior high football coach. Thompson will officially begin his employment at ECCC on June 1. ·
