Officials at The University of West Alabama in Liv– ingston, Ala. said they expect enrollment to be similar to that of the last winter quarter. with fewer students than last quarter. 1'he University of West Alabama will hold registration Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wallace Hall on the cam– pus. Classes are scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
Students planning to attend college this semester have a final chance to register for classes this week at local col– leges. "We have waiting lists on both campuses and our park– ing lots are completely full, but all of these are great prob– lems to have to begin a new semester," said Thomas Davis, president of East Mississippi Community College in Scooba. "We have preregistered more than we ever have and we are anticipating our largest enroll– ment for spring semester classes." Registration activities for EMCC will be held Monday and Tuesday at Stennis Hall on the campus, beginning at 8 a.m. each morning. Classes are scheduled to begin Wednesday.
