To date, 14 people have had bui ld– ings named in their honor since the college was founded in L928, with portraits of only four indi– viduals currently on display. Total cost of the project is esti– mated at over $3000. Member:- of the Board of Directors of the East Central Community College Foundiation, I nc. recently met on the Decatur campus and received an update on Foundation and College matters. Overall. rhe Foundation has secured S598.616.28 in cash and in-kind contribution over the past two years. since its activiation in September. 1996. Overall multi– year pledges total some $850,000 over the past five years, with cash and long-term pledges expected to total some $1 million in the near future. The Board is current– ly raising funds to have portraits
