Nontraditional scholarships available at ECCC East Central Community College in Decatur continues to provide financial assistance to adults who are interested in con– tinuing their education. semesters follO\ving the first 12 semester hours earned as either a part-time or full-time student at East Central. To be eligible, a recipient: 6. Must show potential for leadership, academic excellence, and have high moral standards and good character as document– ed by two letters of recommenda– tion.

1. Must enroll as a ful l-time academic or technical student on the Decatur campus; 2. Must have earned all previ– ous college credit as a student at East Central; 3. Must have earned a mini– mum of 12 semester hours but no more than 21 semester hours of college credit as either fu ll– time or part-time student a t East Central Community College. 4. Must have demonstrated the capacity and a strong desire to obtain a college education by maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher for each previous semester at East central; 5. Must complete a scholar– ship application form and sub– mit it to the Dean of Students' Office; and

Nontraditional student tuition scholarships are available to any qualified Mississippi resident 23 years of age or older, at the time of initial enrollment, who enrolls full-time at ECCC. The scholarship is available to students for three consecutive
