Hennington Joins ECCC Staff

Joseph High School and Solomon Junior High in Greenville and Clinton High School. She served one year as a research assistant with USDA-ARS in Stoneville. She is a recipient of the Merck Young Investigator Award given by the American Heart Association for excellence in research. Dr. Hennington also received a National Health Institute National Research Service Award of 120,000 for thr ee years of research in the area of Renal Physiology. While teaching at St. Joseph High School, she received the STAR Teacher aw~rd for three occasions. A graduate of Greenville High School, Dr. Hennington received her bachelor's degree in biology and her master's degree in special education from Delta State University. She obtained her doctor of philosophy degree in biochemistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Hennington and her husband, Frank, who works for Entergy Corporation, have a daughter, Kim Hardeman, a classroom teacher in Madison and a son, Andy Tubertini, a student at the University of Mississippi. They have one grandchild, Max Hardeman, 2.

CLARK ECCC FACULTY - James Clark of Lake was recently named to the Electronic Technology instructor position at East Central Community College in Decatur. Prior to joining the EC staff, Clark was a test engineer for Hughes Aircraft Mississippi, Inc. He has also held positions with Solano Community College in Suisun, California, and Mare Island N a v a 1 Shipyard in Vallejo, California. He served 19 years in the United States Navy. A graduate of Lewis County High School in Vanceburg, Kentucky, Clark received his associate's degrees in Consumer Electronics and Television Service from Solano Community College. He is married to the former Barbara Conley of Garrison, Kentucky. JOINS
