EVERETTS DONATE TO ECCC PROJECT- Thanks to a major donation by the James B. Everett family, funding .for the "Welcome Home Project'' is nearing completion at' East Central Community College in Decatur. The over $40,000 project involves the re-creation of an archway that · greeted campus visitors for almost three decades, frQm 1951 too the late 1970's. The structure to be built at the campus entrance will include an electronic marquee that will continuously announce campus events. Engraved plaques and bricks listing contributors are part of the project.
