Receives ECCC Scholarship... Ben Wail (center) of Forest is the recipient of the annual Union Planters Bank (formerly Sunburst Bank) Scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur. Established in 1992, tbe scholarship is available to a selected recipient from one of the four counties served by the bank in the ECCC district: Union Planters operates branch offices in Decatur, Union, Philadelphia, Louisville, Forest and Newton. Wall is a 1995 honor graduate of Scott Central High chool where be was valedictorian, student body president and a member of the Odyssey of the Mind team wbicb won State championship honors in 1994 and 1995. In addition, Wall served as band council president, Beta Club treasurer and was a member of tbe annual and newspaper staffs and gifted class. Along with the bank scholar– ship, Wall received a Presidential Scholarship, ACT Scholarship, Valedictorian Scholarship and Band cholarship to attend ECCC. The business administration major plays trumpet in the War– rior Marching Band. His parents are Mar) and Duid Wall of Forest. (EC PhowJ
