Presented ECCC scholarship
Jeram~ Beard (center) of Morton is the recipient of the annual Citizens Bank of Philadelphia Scholarship to attend East Central Communltv College in Decatur. Established in 1992, the scholarship is available to a selected recipient from one of the four ECCC district counties served by the bank, wh1ch includes Lealce, Nashoba, Newton and Scott coun– ties. ~eard is a 1995 honor graduate of Morton High School where she served as Beta Club president? captain of the Lady Panther basketball team, and was a recipient of a National Merit Award. In addition, she was a junior varsity cheerleader, participated in student government and was named to Who 's Who Among American I ligh Sshool Students. At East Central, Beard is a flag team member with the Warrior Marching Band. She was also the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship and Act scholarship to attend ECCC. Her parents are Cooper and Becky Beard of Mo !on
