RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS SCHOLARSHIP • Kristen Barnett (center) of Decatur, a 1995 graduate at ECCC, Is one of only four Mississippi community/junior college students selected to receive a Phi Theta Kappa Leadership SCholarship to attend the University of Mississippi. The prestigious honor, presented during Awards Day activities on the ECCC campus, covers a two-year period and has a total value of $4800. Barnett, a liberal arts major, graduated from East Central with a 3.8 grade point average. A product of Newton County High School, she Is the daughterof Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bar· nett of Decatur.
