RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP - VIcki Adcock (left) of Decatur, a freshman secondary education major at East Central Community College, was the recipient of the Kappa Kappa Iota scholarship which was presented during Awards Day activities by Mrs. Car– leen Gilmore of Sebastopol. Mrs. Gilmore, a teacher at Newton County Elementary School, serves as president of the Upsilon Conclave In Newton County. Each year the organization presents a $150 scholarship to an ECCC student from Newton County who has chosen teaching as a profession and has at least a 2.5 grade point average.
