Laree Lyle chosen as member of EC's Centrallettes, Accents group

commented, "I believe that I'll fit right in. I love to sing and dance". The CentraUettes is the danceline that performs with the East Central Marching Band. Lyle's tryout for the danceline consisted of learning two dances and presenting them that day. "I've been a cheerleader all my life," stated Lyle. "l believe that join– ing the dance team will be a unique and fun change."
LaRcc Lyle, a Senior, was recent– ly selected for both The Accents and The Centrallettes for the 1995-96 East Central Community College school year. The tryout for The Accents con– sisted of vocal range, testing for car, and overall singing ability. The Accents is a special vocal ensemble of East Central choir students. Lyle
Robinson receives band scholarship

On February 10, 1995, Corey Robinson received a band scholar– ship of $750 per semester from East Central Community College. Corey has played in the band fo r eight years. He is curr ently serving as drum captain and playing the snare drum and the quads. After graduat– ing from East Central, Corey plans to attend Mississippi State Universi– ty and major in Civil Engineering. Congratulations Corey!
